Handler for Finnmarkslöpet wanted!

We need a second handler to help at Finnmarkslöpet. Angela will follow to the race as a handler but we need one more person who has a drivinglicence and who would love the adventure and excitment to experience a race really close up.We know it's short notice but If you ore annyone you know would like to help please send us an e-mail to info@petterkarlsson.com We will leave Slussfors on the 1 of march. Another possibility would be to fly to Alta and arrive there no later than 3 of march. Of course we would pay for all the expences for the handler. We travel back home on the 13 of march.

At the Finishline!

Petter passed the finishline with 8 dogs after 76h and 45 min. He came in as #11.

Under the circumstances that I had at the start I think I did very well, Petter says.

Now I know for sure that I have a good team.

Kokos is good! As usual she was the one taking us to the finish, many km in singel lead. She's super!

A great dog that has given me many good puppys.

Now it's time for some well deserved rest for both handlers, the dogs and Petter.

 

 

Femundlöpet running

Petter has left Tufsingdalen  after a mandatory 4 hour rest + the time difference from the starting order.

European Championshio in Longdistance - Femundlöpet 2016

Tomorrow at 11:00 you can watch the start of the European Championship in Longdistans, in Röros Norway. 

Petter will start out with bib # 20 at 11:20. See the start. Petter starts out at 0:24 in the clipp.

He will run Femundlöpet 600km with a 12 dog team.
